Introducing the NEW ultimate torque reduction weapon for both open and cased hole drilling operations.
The dual torque reducer has the ability to reduce both radial torque and vertical drag.
The heavy duty bearings are designed to handle the toughest downhole conditions while providing long trouble free rotating hours.
The bearings are mud lubricated and self-cleaning.
The tool can be serviced in the field and is available to suit all drilled sections.
Each of the 16 Ball Bearings are captured within a "Ball Carrier" mounted on a Wear Disc" that prevents wear to the tool body. The Ball Carrier is securely locked to the tool body by a snap ring.
The above Photograph shows one of the 16 Ball Carriers and Wear Disc that provide an individual "pocket" or bearing race when locked into the tool body.
Each ball rotates approximately one quarter of one rotation for each full rotation of the Drillstring. As it comes into contact with the Wellbore or Casing, the upper and lower ball races are off-set to provide "three ball" contact loading at all times.

- SUBSTANTIAL REDUCTION IN TRIPPING DRAG.
- HUGE REDUCTION IN CASING WEAR.
- GREATLY ENHANCES DOWNHOLE STEERING CAPABILITY.
- LARGE CIRCULATING BY-PASS AREA.
- CAN BE RUN IN BOTH OPEN AND CASED HOLE.
- ALL STEEL CONSTRUCTION PROVIDES RUGGED DURABILITY.
- NO RESTRICTION ON DOWNHOLE TEMPERATURE.
- ONE PIECE MANDREL CONSTRUCTION.
- PATENTED "BEARING WEAR" SYSTEM.
- FULL THRU-BORE FOR UNRESTRICTED CIRCULATING AREA.

Dimensions
SDT "DUAL TORQUE REDUCER's" are manufactured in the two above sizes.
It can be seen from the schematics shown that, there are NO components on
the extreme outside diameter of the tools that would present a risk of being lost
while drilling in open hole conditions.
It is also obvious that due to the "slick profile" design of the DUAL TORQUE
REDUCER it is ideal for "stripping" operations, both in and out of the well bore.
Tools can also be manufactured to suit customers requirements, essentially in
regards to connection type and sizes.
